Fourth Day

I started off capturing film off the video-camera using Final Cut Express, and then for the rest of the day I printed off leaflets.

Day Three

I had to figure out how to change the audio input and output for the “Solid state recorder”, and then I had to organise lots of files on the system into different categories and folders. Again, more uploading to Chalk Talk website, and renaming the files and trying to organise things on there as well.

Second Day

I had to upload lots of photos on to Flickr, and then arrange them into albums and sets, and make them into and RSS feed for the Chalk Talk website, in which i just had to map the images correctly. I also had to upload a few videos as well.

My First Day

The event was held by Salford LINk, this is one of their posters.

Me and Mick came to the office to pick up the equipment, and then we went to the broadwalk centre to interview people on what they though about Salford in general, and the quality of the health and social services available in the local area. I had to get people to clip the microphone onto them when being interviewed and do the sound check, and i also helped Mick set up the equipment at the beginning. I also had a look around the building with a small, handheld camcorder, and just recorded what was going on, and what the building was like.
